Tune in to the Outdoor Channel on Tuesday at 8 pm for a DIY alpine mule deer stick bow hunt on Eastman's TV. The hunt will be shown on the second half of the show.

I'll have to check it out. Eastman's is one of the only shows on TV I'll actually watch. No fences!

South, that was awesome. I'll have to re-watch tonight but it looked like the one you missed was a giant.

Don't be a stranger to this site and keep shootin the recurve. That was no slouch of a mulie you took with your homemade recurve.

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say there are a lot of DIY western hunters here and your expertise is always welcome. I for one have always enjoyed your writings and blogs about Western big game.

thanks for the heads up...I just saw something on Outdoor Channel...can't recall the episode though....it was about an outfitter along the Milk River in Montana...THe host hunted with a compound but the outfitter seemed to be using a Robertson Longbow...took a nice buck with it too. I believe another of the outfitter's family was using a Kodiak Hunter.

There was a show on there a couple of days ago that had a guy that made his own stick bows. He gave one to the host and he shot a hog with it, anyone see this one?
