I'm convinced now that he's the same buck that I passed up last year opening day.

The trail cam is set on the same scrape he's working in the phot last fall.  He opened all the same scrapes withing the last week.

Sure hope I get the same 8yd shot at him again in a couple weeks!

Hey Ed this is a family friendly site.  We don't need to see bears doing their sexy pose!!   :jumper:

Ed! What the...?

Is that the bears tounge hanging out?

If those are apples laying in a pile behind the bear, they might have gone a little "hard". I think he's drunk!

Not long got myself a trail cam, first pics of an animal in the bush, unforunately not a deer, but may interest you blokes, happy with the pics off a cheap camera,Wildgame ir4, just cant get the bloody thing to read too the SD card, which is driving me nuts, contacted them but they are slow getting any thing back to you.

Hopefully a nice Sambar stag will be the next post.

Cheers

Wal,

Try to "Format" your card on your PC and if that doesnt work, try to format it on the trail camera itself. It may be using a different format (J.peg or something) If its an older card it may not be compatible with your new camera.

Thanks doeboy, I am not real flash with technology, I'll suggest this to my 15 year old and ask him to have a go at what you have suggested.

Thanks again

Cheers

First buck of the year.  Saw this guy in velvet a month or so ago.  Nice deer.
Appears this buck was hit in the road Sept 29.  Two days before deer season.  Got a pic from the neighbor.  He was pushed from a pumpkin patch by some pickers about 5PM.  RIP buddy:

Sorry I deleted these because they did not save the right size and were too big.  I will work on re-editing and get them up soon!

mparks I am having trouble matching the dead buck with the live pictures- doesn't look like the same buck. The brow tine on the its left antler looks too tall compared to the live deer; and the right side brow tine -looks like it is attached further up the beam.
I hope I am right and you get a shot that can prove it.
THE VOICES HAVEN'T BOTHERED ME SINCE I STARTED POKING THEM WITH A Q-TIP.
