What do you guys use for the crown dip?

Ok guys I started this post yesterday cause I wanted to get into doing this.So today I jumped in with both feet.I found some used feathers and some old paint and went at it,even did the cresting by hand.I can see how this can be addictive!

I have to get some of the good supplies and then get good.

That cut on the blue and whites is about identical to what I used to get from my "Butler Cut" chopper. Just did a search and couldn't find Butler Archery...they may have gone by the way. I couldn't locate Little Chopper either...can't recall if they include contact info with product but you used to be able order your own custom shapes directly from them. 3 Rivers sells a 3R Swift that's close but not quite.  My "Stealth Arrows". Feathers are from my turkey kill!!!!!!

Hey Rick. I have a Butler cut chopper that I've babied for years and it's still working great. I think Butlers sold out to Wildcat Archery years ago. Used to see Butlers in Co. and Texas Panhandle shoots many years ago. A very fine feather design I think. You can't see really well but these are Butler cut.

Yup...when I saw  the "Stealth Arrows" I thought the cut was Butler, too. Rick.

Check out  http://www.herbsarchery.com/  on his cut fletchings page. He calls it an "orca" cut. He also has choppers to match, though not "Little Choppers"
