Any of the name brand heads available today are fine.

Zwickey, Magnus, Bear, Grizzly, and others are all names have been talked about for years.

There are a few new comers that WILL be talked about for years to come as well.

We all have different views, tastes and abilities.  As always, pick one that you can shoot and sharpen and stick (pun intended) with it.

From whitetail to moose, the 145 grain Eclipse has served me well over the years

I shoot the Eskimo's and German Kinetics!
Eskimo's are easy to sharpen and cheap, while the Silver flames are at the opposite end of the scale - hard to sharpen and very expensive. Swings and Roundabouts really... If I had loads of money I'd shoot the kinetics or something like the 300xtream but at $30 or $40 a pop it would bankrupt me!
Like ChuckC says - pick one that suites your setup and sharpens easy then stick to it.

Man ... what a hard question ... Eclipse 125 are probably on top for me. But I do like the Snuffer 125's with bleeder's too!

For me I like the 145 gr magnus stinger 4 blade

The old yellow/green Bear razorheads where hard to beat.   With as much interest there is in then, what's the possibility Bear would "re-introduce" them?  I'd buy them.

For me the woodsman fly great i keep trying to shoot the zwickeys but they never fly quite right. Although i can sharpen them better than woodsman. The way i figure it is no matter how sharp you get your BH if you cant hit your target what good is it.
And in the end when i can no longer draw the bow or watch the arrow embark on its flight;when i posses only the spirit of the hunter, i will hunt.... if only in my dreams... because the hunt is born amidst my soul, and i... i am the hunter

pitbull

Wensel Woodsman for me. Best combination of dart like flight and penetration out of lighter bows I have used. Sharpening takes time with a new head, but the results are worth it!
