Good job Danny- no surprise here, have a great Christmas.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Good for you, I'm assuming that last one came during or after firearms, always tougher to get em then.

danny didn't tell you guys the whole story.he spotted that buck about a week ago.he said it was gonna be that deer or nothing for his last tag.took him about a week to close the deal.how's that for dedication?
he's the best i know on deer with the stick and string.i learn something new every time we hunt together.all of my traditional harvests have come as a direct result of danny's help.

Congats nice deer. Makes me wish I was back home in WV.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

thanks again guys. I agree Jack, late season here is mighty tough. a couple years ago I killed an 8 pointer with my stick that was after a small doe the week after gun season. one thing about it, you don't run across many other people (if any) this time of year.

hey banana bowman!   we're headed to a little town called Ona, Fl which is near Lakeland. I hear mid Jan is a good time for pigs there.

yeah Kenny I figured it out but, the new computer gets the credit.

I almost forgot the specs. the bow in the picture is my little black RER Vortex (a sponser on here) 56"s and 46#@28". I shoot 29 1/4" Gold Tip Traditional's with 50 gn inserts and a 125 grain 4-blade head. either a SteelForce or Muzzy Phantom. I like them both equally. this buck got the SteelForce and the 9 pointer in Nov got a Phantom. the Oct doe also got a SteelForce. both GREAT heads. oh yeah, did ya'll notice that Teresa Asbell hand made wool pullover? (another tradgang sponser) VERY warm and comfortable. We gotta give them sponsers a      .
