Soooo looking forward to this.    :bigsmyl:   Have the slip put in for the time off, so far looks like I will get it.

Don't have much to donate... will prolly be a few jars of my wifey's homemade jam or jelly.  Will have to see what fruit we have left in the freezer for her to concoct up some sugary goodness.  Maybe a few other things I can round up.

Will have my Kabekona longbow and possibly bring along the old Bear K-mag.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Just found some "good medicine" for bunnies. I was playing with 9mm cases on the front of wood shafts. They worked at short range but were a little too light. I found that the 9mm cases fit snug over an 11/32 field tip and work perfectly!!
Just one more step please!

Some dude with a stick and string chasing things.

Keep that Jam away from Arwin !!!

Arwin ..sounds like you have a killing combo with the blunts.

I really want to go, need to see if I can get the time off work. Any one know of hotels close by?

jacobsladder

Michael...depending on your plans.... the closest town will be St Johns....otherwise you'd probably be looking at Mt pleasant area....which is about an hour north of St. Johns...There's the soaring eagle casino plus some other hotels...Hope you can make it! Traverse is roughly 3  hours from St Johns

Stickbowguy, Dewitt is real close(about as close as STJ) and they have a major hotel right there at the 27/69 junction. About 10mi away. No casino tho.haha

Arwin... that sounds like a winner.  May have to take the Glock to the range to get some empty casings...

We are really lookingforward to being there as well.

We will be bringing a youth Longbow for the raffle as well. We will post some pictures of it when it is finished. We are thinking of something with an Osage riser 48" long
Just get outside and blow the stink off!!!

The 9mm case over the 125 sounds like it might work. I made up a heavy arrow just for rabbit, in one of the last issues of TBH mag there was a story about using a fish arrow because most shots are close range and into heavy brush. I have not tested mine yet but looks like I may get a chance. The arrow weights over 1100gr so it should pack a punch
