Man that's an awesome buck.  I keep seeing people kill these kind of bucks during gun season...there must be something to it.

Yeah Billy is right I should tell you a little about the bow I shot him with. I bought this bow last year from Billy Shipp who had bought it from someone here on Trad gang who bought it from another Tradganger. Anyhow it is a Schafer silvertip 60" LH 50# @ 27" with a magus head -175 grain with insert -carbon express hertiage 90 . If you haven't shot one of these bows do yourself a favor and do so , make sure it has the checkered grip . I have nicknamed this bow Arnold.

Congratulations on a FINE WV buck! I'm glad to see one of our state's fine trophy bucks fall to traditional equipment...even better during rifle season! Jack, how was the rut up there, (hour and a half north of me)? We had a very weak rut here and I haven't seen a shooter buck chasing yet! There was very little buck sign this year in our area. congrats again on a fine buck.

Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

Brian the rut was non existent until the 14th of November and then I saw 3 doe chases that day. After that I killed as doe on Monday the 16th to fill my last archery tag ( I saw this nice buck that day ) and didn't hunt again until Monday of firearms season. Prior to the 14th I set 6 mornings , 3 evenings and saw a total of 1 yearling .

Hi Coop how you doing? How was your season ? How is the family?

:notworthy:     :clapper:  wow. Great buck! I am very happy for you. Seeing this is reason for me to continue on with my quest of a mature buck during gun season.
