You should be very proud of the fact that you hung in and found him. Bad shots sometimes happen. I have done it and many others as well. We hunt as ethically as we can but sometimes a LIVE animal does what a LIVE animal does. Congrats on the hard work and a fine buck!

Gerardo could you give us the details of the find? Having lost a great buck last year from a similar shot I am anxious to hear the distance, search, etc. I didn't sleep for 2 months after mine and never found hide nor hair. WAY TO GO ON THE FIND!
