Alright Tim was a busy man today...he snapped 45 pics!!  I'll try and use a little restraint so you won't get all 45 pics.

Tim starts off with a nice clean table

Get all the limb components and glue ready!

Start applying glue to the lams

Stack em up with just the right amount of glue!

Know get them ready to go in the limb press

Lay the lams in the press and tape it up good and straight

Now lay the fire hose on top

More coming!!!

Tatersalad

Add the top of the limb press

Add some pressure!

And into the oven!!!

Now for the riser!

more to come!

Tatersalad

all right now lets finish up laying up the riser!

Now for some clamps...lots of clamps!

And more clamps!!

And finally into the oven with the limbs!!!

Who said that making a bow wasn't much work...hell I'm tired just looking at the pictures!

Thanks again Tim!

Should have more photos coming after she comes out of the oven.

Glad your enjoying it.  This thread should give everyone a little appreciation for the bowyer craft/art.

Thanks

I'll keep them coming as long as someone wants to look at them.

Awsome. I ordered a "treestick" from Tim in the summer. He said it was going to be ready by the end of this month. He does great work, cant wait to get my bow.

I love these threads. Nothing better than to watch a bow in the making.
The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

Littlefeather

Good job guys! Its always interesting to see the different techniques that each bowyers uses to produce their art. I've never owned a bow from Tim but I've had my eye on a 3 piece tree stick for awhile. Maybe sooner than later!   :D   CK

My wife DeeDee says for me to tell you folk`s that she`s the one that keeps my shop clean and your kind words are appreciated. !!!!!!!!
