Ya know I have had alot of bows. And I do mean alot. But one that I let go haunts me. Got it off Fleabay in 03 or 04. I never heard of the bowyer  when I got it. Funny thing is I lost the bid. But the winner sent it back and the guy sold it to me. I really loved it. The bow was a early Jim Neaves. Like I said did not know who he was. G dis d a web search and found him. Called him up and he knew the bow right off. I swore I would NEVER let it go. Shell just smiled. And about a year or so and then got a wandering eye and sold it. I regret it still. The sweetheart is the 3rd from the top on the rack. So anyone else kicking themselves for letting one go?<><

Hey Frank,
What's the bottom one in the rack, kinda looks like a Sley bow?

Yep, let a Mohawk that I got from Elkherder go and regret it too this day. Same thing happened to me. Got the wandering eye and let it go for something else.

Yes, I traded a Damon Howatt Super Diablo in 50# that I hunted several seasons with in the early 70s and taken quite a few deer for a Colt .22 revolver at a New Years Eve party.  I just recently bought another DH SD in 50# but it's not MY bow.

I also got rid of the following I'd like back:
'67 Bear Grizzly
Late 60s Root Gamemaster
Ben Pearson longbow 50#

56" long Elburg Jaguar Mite, my first Elburg bow. I have 7-8 Elburgs, but I should have kept that one. I sold it about 10 years ago after my heart attack and before open heart surgery. I'd love to have it back.

God bless,

José

If the second one's the Horne's combo. I still have it! & It's still a sweet shooter for a low # bow!!!

I had a Northern Mist Superior, 50#, 68", that I couldn't miss with.  Yep....I sold it on one of my frequent, "not to bright" moments.

Humm. I think I kinda like the sleek slim lines on the fourth bow. The 5th looks like a Great Plains lb. If so, it would be the glass bow that launched my longbow career. I absolutely fell in love with longbows after shooting that bow.

Yea, I sure miss a few old bows. Glad I got rid of about 100 others along the way. Haven't had a new bow in about 6 years. I've got the bug again now!!!! CK
