Bowdoc, I'm not sure that Connie posts here, or at least not often.  I know she doesn't spend much time on the computer - very busy with her school and trying to fit in a little hunting when she can.  But I do know her personally, and can sure vouch for her as being a great representative for trad bowhunting.  Hard hunting, great ethics, and an excellent spokesperson.  
I don't know any of the others that are in the running, but Connie is no doubt the cream of the crop!

I think you are way off base with this one.

IF Connie can win this contest it will be a huge PR windfall for Traditional Archery.  SHE will be the one going on the hunt and being shown on TV,  NOT  the wheelie bow or rifle girls!

How can that not be a good thing or traditional archery/hunting related?

Connie is a great ambassador for tradtional bowhunting.  She is a fine lady and deserves our help.  Just because she is not in here posting does not mean she is not a great contributor; different people do different things--she IMO contributes by her speaking engagements and magazine articles. She is a true traditional bowhunter and we need to use this public forum to promote OUR traditional bowhunter.

I enjoyed Connie's last article in TBM last month and feel she is a good Rep. for trad. bow hunting.
Just checked and she is still in 1st place, but dropped to 38%.

bowdoc....this is totally trad related.its not wheather she belongs to tradgang or not but is a traditional shooter so we all have a stake in her winning.she will be a great representitive for all trad shooters members of tradgang and non member traditional hunters.shes the only trad shooter in the group so this should not even be an issue imho.

There is some sort of online contest to nominate the "Most Extreme Huntress"

Connie Renfro is a well known traditional bowhunter, and it sure would be a
cool thing if a traditional lady could win the contest and show case our

I'll bet if we put a thread on Pow Wow about it we could sure help Connie's
chances.  But I don't know if it might be seen as being out of line to do
something like that so I thought I would run it past you before starting a
thread.  If you think it is OK I'd be happy to get it going.  If you think
it shouldn't be on Trad Gang I completely understand and there is no problem
with that either.  Just thought it might be fun to try to help her along.
She is a great ambassador for traditional archery!
