UPDATE pg 3...All New Traditional design T-Shirt/Decal

A while back I asked for some decal ideas.  Well it turned into something more.  You will see a couple of the ideas in this design.

The design work was done by Gary Logsdon of Wilderness Artistry.  Gary has done work for Brothers of the Bow and the Wensels.  

The design has meaning to it.  Here it is broken down.

  A stone point representing the archers of ancient past.

  A crescent moon symbolizing a "bent bow" as referred to in Maurice Thompson's inspirational writings of the 1800s.

  A silhouette reminiscent of Fred Bear, "The Father of Modern Bowhunting", on a "hunter's journey".

  Finally a quote reflecting the passion we have for the total experience of hunting with a simple bow.


  I am going to get some t-shirts made up first.  They will be black with the design on the front.  I will be taking pre orders as soon as I can get my website updated.

I hope the "Tradgangers" like the design.  As Paul said, I tried to make it different, something that would connect with those of us who passionately go afield with a simple bow in hand.  The symbolism was inspired by archery history as well as narration from Primal Dreams, the recent ground breaking film produced by my friends the Wensel and Mitten brothers.  Finally, I knew Fred Bear, a fine gentleman, so it was an honor to include an image reminiscent of his "Restless Spirit".

Now that decal I like, very nicely done. I'm not one to have decals on my truck... of any kind, but that one I would actually consider. That is the most "fitting" traditional design I've seen.

Just wondering how big the decal on the shirt would be? If it goes on the front I just like the smaller pocket size. Any chance you could do it that way??

Thank's for all of the positve feedback.  One one thing that I have been hearing, is to put the design on the back.  When I place the order, the design will be on the back. Along with a small pocket design on the front.
