Come on Mike you know you want it...you neeeed it...make the call. Just kidding...they are very nice.

1/4 away...I just started shooting mine with the trad hammer heads and they shoot like darts...was shooting the griz alaskans and they shot the same way.

I handled Terry's (oneshotonekill) this past weekend and it was a really good feeling handle.

I didn't get to shoot it..but it sure was a spitfire and very accurate in his hands.

Brian's handiwork is very nice indeed.

I really liked the wood combination in Terry's bow...

Although speed isn't everything I am getting average 195 fps with a 725 gr. arrow. My bow is 70#@29. This adds up to apprx. 61 foot pounds. Wow!

Steve O

Yep, I've seen very, very few bows that you could tell by  eye that it was faster than others of the same weight.  I got 10-11 fps thru the chrony with my 55# TallTines comparing it to other top notch 55#ers with the same 540 and 650g arrows.  That was pretty impressive to me.

Steve, I'm really looking into a TT. Just wondering if your chrono results were with bows set up similar strings, brace heights, etc.

I'm not a speed freak, but I am interested in possibly dropping a couple #s of draw weight and keeping similar performance as my other bows.

Thanks,

Allen

Freakin awesome bow is all I've got to say.  I'm a stickler on draw stack as I draw so dang long and this thing was smooooooooooooooooth to say the least!  Love the "matte" finish...I was critical of the shelf as it looks big in pics, but on the contrary found it to be great for was large enough to hold your hand into the grip, small enough to not interfere w/ flight, and low like my BW. Deffinately made my Christmas list!

Allen shoot me a pm with your e-mail or phone # and I'll tell you exactly what I did, but the TT was at a disadvantage and still smoked the others.

Steve,you da man!Made my mind up.Thanks again,Randy

Sweet looking bow!  Reminds me of a Schafer.  Maybe one of these days I'll have enough jack to try one out.  Sounds like the performance is incredible

I to thought they were very similar before owning them both. There are a lot of differences. Here are some side by sides. These are both 58" bows.

Well, much to the displeasure of Mrs. A.S., I made the call to Brian and ordered a Tall Tines yesterday!

Yes, Tom and Billy, I finally folded to the peer pressure....just like a 16 year old boy.   :goldtooth:

Come on TJ you don't want to be known as a quitter...plus the guys are just pushing the blame over to you...it's gettin cold outside and they don't want to be in the doghouse all winter. Could be another order coming from Miami and AZ...so best get in before the list gets to long.

My wife thinks its Steve O's fault,Sorry Steve.

KentuckyTJ

LOL I guess it really is my fault since I started the thread. Its really just payback though I always blame my purchases on all you guys. Don't worry if I get lucky enough to get another doe down I'll lay on some more peer pressure.

Brian told Allen yesterday the wait was just 10 weeks. Not bad at all really. Heck I waited 10 months for my Blacktail.
