I generally make my own Pointy Sticks, and have used "Minwax Poly" to Dip them in for the Final Finish.
I came across a can of "Varathane Spar Urethane", anyone else had any Experience with this stuff??

I use Helmsman Spar Urethane with great results.  It dries very hard and durable.
