Live a Good Life! And in the end, it's not the number of years in your life...it's the LIFE in your years!!!

Wallcrawler

Great offer and more than kind!  I won't need to enter but want to wish everyone luck.  Maybe I can come along on my own dime to see the fun and meet some great people.

What an amazing thing to do! I'd love a chance to hunt with you and fellow gangers especially in Oregon, a place I have never been and would probably never have a chance to hunt!
ONLY IN THE WOODS AND FIELDS DO I FEEL ALIVE, LIKE A HUNTER FROM TIMES PAST, ALTHOUGH THE HISS OF MY ARROW GOES FORTH, I AM TAKEN BACK, IT IS MY ESCAPE...

Don't add me, 'cause I hunt them in the neighborhood.  However, it looks as if Larry is a for real "Oregon Donor".  Ha
So don't wait until you retire to go hunting and fishing.  Don't even wait for your annual vacation.  Go at every opportunity.  Things that appear urgent at the moment may, in the long run, turn out to be far less so.

On the way to school the other day my son Zach, 7yrs old, asked me why I like to hunt so much. It caught me by surprise but my response was immedidate. I told him that when Im hunting I realize how much God loves me. When I see the Sun rising and glowing between the mesquite branches and the birds chirping away It makes me feel very blessed. So many sounds going on at the same time, all my sense are on full alert and my heart is pounding, I love it. I also told Him that when I go hunting I realize how much I love him and my wife and how important they are to me. The kill is not what makes the hunt its only icing on the cake. But when I do make a kill using a recurve and arrows fletched by me and broadheads sharpened and tuned by me, Im very thankful to Lord and Im proud to drag my kill to the truck. I also kind of feel like God is patting me on the back and saying good job. Kinda of silly, I know, but thats the way I feel.

I've been on a couple of Solo Elk hunts before never got one but had a blast anyway. I would like to try it again one day.
The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and He addeth no sorrow with it. Prov 10;22

Always dreamed of elk hunting! Would love to join up with someone who knows what they are doing. Let me know if you guys need company on that hunt. I'm saving up for a guided hunt hopefully for next year. So let someone else reap the rewards of your generosity!
Thanks!
