I don't think you can go wrong with either bow,I have shot and own both, and they are both quaility and well made bows.

I shoot a 3 piece Acadian Woods recurve. Quiet, smooth and fast. Tim makes a great bow. There are others that have more experience hunting/shooting with his bows on here like "trooper". I give em a thumbs up.

I have an Acadian Woods one piece classic recurve it is a great shooter, very fast and very quiet. Have never tried the other bow but would recommend the Acadian Woods.

The Acadian Woods TreeStick is one of the finest bows I have shot and owned. You can't go wrong with one of Tim's bows.

You can't go wrong with RER. They are great people and Kevin makes a great bow. I have six of their bows.
Good Luck,

Two high quality bows for sure. Of course I'm naturally prejudiced toward the RER. I've tried a lot of bows and it is the one that has finally ended my personal search for the perfect bow. I haven't owned an Acadian Woods, but have shot a couple and the grip is completely different. Matter of personal preference when it comes to grip design. They both are beautifully made and great shooting bows.
The RER LXR has a set of both longbow and recurve limbs on one riser. Are you considering two sets of limbs on the Tree Stick as well?

I've had both, and both of them are fine pieces of equipment. The Acadian I had was probably the prettiest bow I have owned. The RER's I've had were real lookers as well, and I'd also give them the nod to being much faster of the two, if that is of any importance to you.

Whip, thinking about two sets of limbs for sure. The LXR is what I am looking at. As far as speed, it is important to me so thanks for the input Two Arrows.

I just received my CLXR and it is a beauty and I love how it shoots. I have never shot the Acadian woods so I can't compare them. i would say you are hard pressed to go wrong with the RER. I have some photos posted in the pow wow of mine. Good luck.

I have the opportunity to shoot both. I really liked the LXR. It is very smooth drawing and shooting. The grip is great. Yep, the LXR would be my choice. The grip on the Acadian has too much of a ridge that doesn't sit in my hand as well.

I have had both and would not hesitate to own either again. i would however len toward the Acadian Woods and send him a riser with a grip that I would want duplicated if possible. As far as grips go, talk to each bowyer and let them know what you need in a grip and they can tell you if it is possible on their design. just my .02
