One or more of these. All Doziers.

But this one is probably my favorite. It is a Dozier as well.

Nothing cuts like a Dozier.

A 100mm blade Finnish Puukko.  I really like 'em.

Sorry haven't got a pic.

Two, a swiss army hunter knife, which if you never used one for whitetail or smaller, Awesome knife, great gut blade. Then a Helle neck knife which is awesome as well.  Have a leatherman, mainly for squirrel hunting, and few good knives.

I have carried a Hele Godbit for several years and have finally talked a friend into making a better sheath for it.  While fishing and tramping i carry one of the green handle Mora nives.  i have 5 or 6 and I stik them in every pack and vehicle i have.  Cheap, not real strong, but sharp.

I carry a Randall #21 "Little Game" on my belt and a Case "Peanut" in my pocket. The Case is in my pocket always.

Here is one of my favourites by our very own Karl Anderson.

Are the fixed knife guys carrying them on their belts vertically?

I have almost broken too many ribs from falling in steep country on a fixed knife to ever carry one again vertically.

I keep a Kershaw Orion 3" assisted opening blade in my pocket and a folding Gerber Gator half serrated in the pack.

A DMT folding sharpener rounds out my knife kit.

I have some great knives of Alaska knives, but have only used the caping knife and the skinning knife once.  They are grea knives, especially for the price, but are heavy for backpacking.

I want to get one of the surgical scalpel replaceable knives for skinning chores, those are light and obviously sharper than anything else out there.
Give me a bow a topo and two weeks, and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

I have to do a lottery each time.  Any one of about 20 could make the trip.  I throw them all in a box, close my eyes, reach in, and......     :scared:

Oh the BLOOD!!!!!  Oops, should have put the sheaths in too....   :saywhat:

That's one of the great advantages of this kind of a sheath:

The knife pivots.  todd

Spyderco James A. Keating Chinook, the good one, the original model. Can't beat it for getting the job done.
Lefties are the only ones who hold the bow in the right hand.

So it doesn't take a rib out as you fall?  I always liked carrying a fixed blade for the utility, but rarely hunt where I am not hiking long distances over steep terrain, ie I have lots of opportunities to fall.

After 31 years I am good at falling down!

I have a fixed blade knife that has 2 bear paws pressed into the steel up near the bolster...don't know who made it though. It is a very nice knife.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

This year I will have to roll the dice to pick one each time.  Last year it was a Schrade.

This year it will either be a: Rooster, Skullworks, Dana Holman, or a Sticshooter.  Later on I will also be adding a Karl Andersen Blade.

Hi my name is Bryan Horner and I have a tradgang knife problem.

tradtusker

My old Swiss army knife

would hate to guess how many animals this knife has skinned over the last 6 hunting seasons in South Africa, its cut skin and flesh in more countries then i care to guess at, come to think of it, its opened more cold beers and bottles of wine that i care to admit

Also carry one of Robtattoo's beautiful knives when i need something bigger.  Rob makes a Great Knife    :notworthy:
