Yeah, Kevin didn't actually bugle. He just started with mews and here they came. The lead one was a big cow, followed by a calf, then another mature cow. They got about 50 yds. and stopped. I could see a fourth one hanging about 30 yds. behind but could only see pieces. I THOUGHT I saw some bone but he never came out of the thicker stuff and he never bugled. Then the wind changed and they blew out of there. End of story. bw

Once again I express my sincere thanks to my buddy Marty McMahon. A better host and friend would be impossible. He was passing up pigs to move Biggie and me to his best stands. Also thanks to Les for allowing me to sit a couple of his stands. I passed up quite a few deer as well. Those Florida deer are cute, but they aren't real whitetails. Real whitetails are three times that big. Marty killed a doe and made a sandwich for Biggie out of the thing...
