I appreciate all the kind words folks!  I agonized over it for months.  I finally purchased the .com name in June.  It took me until August to spring for the hosting and other goodies.  I spent way more than I should have on stuff I didn't need.  I ended up returning the shopping cart, and the other stuff that went with it.  I figure it will work best anyway if I have more contact with the customer.  I built this thing from a free template.  I'm not the smartest computer guy, but bungled through it.  Luckily, my wife is a phenomenal writer, and my personal editor.

Great site and very nice Bows. I think a 60" 50# osage wenge ossabaw is going to be my next bow.
Everybody loves archery... some just haven't tried it yet.

Nice looking website?  I really like the shape of the Cumberland.

How big of a piece of wood do you need for the riser section on that bow?

It was only a matter of time and it is good to see you getting after it, as you should.  I remember when you first broached the topic with fellow Tradgangers about starting up this business and it shows your dedication to make it work.
BTW, I have a couple of questions:
1. What style is your go to bow? and,
2. Does the Ossabaw have the extra strength at the fades to, like your prototype, to enhance the energy at the limbtips?  That is such an impressive profile.

Apex Predator

Oliver Stacy,

The Cumberland has a 16" riser.  I like to start with a riser block of 1-5/8" X 1-5/8" X 16-1/2" for that model.

Christopher,

I'm using a 17" riser and power lams running up the belly ramps in the Ossabaw.  She has a beautiful bend to the limbs! Here is a shot of a 64" model.

Steve,

I retired as a Senior Chief Fire Controlman.  I worked on the Phalanx Close in Weapon System most of my career.  In the later years I was busy running various divisions within the Weapons dept.  My last couple I spent most of my time as the Anti-terrorism/Force Protection Training Supervisor aboard USS Carney, where I retired.
