Nice job!  I get just as excited about any thing I take traditional!  Ten times more then when I shot a compound.

Great job, thanks for sharing.  Our expanded season opens today and I'm hoping a similar story.  thanks for firing me up.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Thanks again for all the comments, guys. Got 4 hours of sleep last night and got up early this morning and commenced to de-bone her out. I had her packed in ice overnight. I'm still going on adrenaline! Not even tired yet as I had just settled in for my first meal of the day at 2 PM! Getting caught up on here on replies and in answering emails now.

Trad archery is so rewarding and fulfilling when things go well like they did yesterday.

Hey Doug, took me a while to find the post. Fantastic shooting, and way to stay poised, and ready for the shot. Glad you were able to connect with the deer, she will make for some very fine eating. CONGRATULATIONS, that's great!!

Great job Doug! It makes my mouth water. Doe venison is outstanding eating. Nice shot as well. Looks like a blood trail is not a problem with a two blade broadhead
