Just curious - Why did Arvid switch again for belly mount to back mount? When I talked to him months ago he said there were advantages to belly mount. Love my 1PC Hybrid.

vermonster13

He made the switch so he could use one mold to make his risers as for he is now going to be offering an ILF riser and carbon foam core in the limbs instead of maple actionwood.

The 1pc will remain forward handle but will also have carbon foam cores.

David, do you have any pictures of the new front mount rigs or are they on the same lines as his old ones? I also wish he still built the old style hybrid instead of the forward grip ones liked the looks alot better. Just more of my tastes. Flint

I have one of the old style handles with the carbon/ceramic limbs Flint.

The new risers should be done with new limbs next week and I'll have pics then.

@vermonster
Are the wood riser RC slower than the metal?
Have you already shoot a foam core swan?

The metal risers are a bit faster with all the limbs. You'd need to talk to Arvid about exact numbers. I've shot the glass foam core, the carbon foam core are just being made. The test set were 4fps faster than the glass foam. The best part is, no increase in price, just performance.

David,

Have you shot the carbon foam hybrids yet?  Arvid said mine should go out today.  Can't wait to get them mounted on the DAS.

I have a feeling that you're going to like them.    ;)
