I am new to this forum.
I have been in archery for about 60 years.
I shot field and hunter in the 60's and 70's,
co-founded the archery society at SFA state university
I am serious about traditional archery, anything else is not archery.
I try to make bows and will someday get lucky and break a rock into an arrow head.
I am interested in almost anything as long as it has to do with archery.
I like this forum and feel you are owed an introduction. I like not having to wade through junk to read about archery and for that you have my greatest respect.
thanks for all the good info. One would think that after 60 years of archery I would know something but I learn something every day here and I am supprised how little I really know.

Welcome!!! it's a GREAT place, I've learned more in the few years that I've been on this site than the previous 18 years put together.

Hello Gilmer, Tx.
I got some people around Ore City and there abouts, Pittsberg too.
Real good hunting up there.

Welcome deepwoods. I can remember shooting my bow at the hay bales at the northwest end of the intramural field at SFA when I was a boy around 1970.

Welcome !

This is a great site; and I have found many hunting companions here that all are great people.

Its like a breath of fresh air. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Welcome deepwoods!  This is the best archery forum I know. I just turned 60 and you say you have been in archery for 60 years?  That's amazing! You must share some of your experiences with us.
