[Tree Killer]

This is a dormant volcano about 30 minutes from my house. I was hunting Blacktails and elk opening day a few years ago and posed my Blacktail bow with some huckleberry brush.



There had been a herd of elk down in this little green opening and the smell of elk was heavy in the air.



A communal elk wallow tucked back in the timber.



A river canyon in northeast Oregon. Roughcountry should recognize this view!

to all who posted pics "wow". what fantastic veiws of gods country. i look at these pics y'all have so generously posted and think of the speach that john wayne gave about all the features of this great land of ours. io can only hope that one day i too will be able to see just maybe a small portion of what you fellas have seen . before it truly is all gone. y'all are truly fortunate to be able to witness the great and wonderous beauty of our country
