Tree Killer

This is a dormant volcano about 30 minutes from my house. I was hunting Blacktails and elk opening day a few years ago and posed my Blacktail bow with some huckleberry brush.

There had been a herd of elk down in this little green opening and the smell of elk was heavy in the air.

A communal elk wallow tucked back in the timber.

A river canyon in northeast Oregon. Roughcountry should recognize this view!

Well said R.E.  Everytime I venture back in God's creation I am in awe and just love soaking in it's beauty.

I didn't take this picture. But it is an area I have hunted here in Oregon.
