No truer words could be spoken about passing the torch. Excellent article! I just got my nephew into shooting bows and hopefully he will be bowhunting come October. I am really looking forward to experiencing some of those same feelings that Joe did.

I hear ya, I was at the same shoot, middle of the back half, and there was Joe and his "entourage", they made us play thru because he was so busy talking with the media! What a great guy! Good times, good times!!

Very cool Joe, congratulations!!! I see my copy must have shown up on Friday or Saturday when I was gone to a traditional shoot so I will be sure to give your article a read soon.
When are you heading out for your Unit 61 hunt? How long do you plan to stay?

Thanks again guys. When I was just a kid I always thought how cool it would be to write for outdoor magazines. Long way to go before I can consider myself a writer, but fun to try.

Dan, we'll be in 61 about the 26th. Will be staying at least through the 6th, and maybe as long as the 12th if need be. I'll touch base with you before we leave.
