I have a Silvertip coming in september, I orderd it with a checkerd grip! I was wondering if it is worth the extra money! appreciate any input! Thanks, Jason

I really like the checkering, doesn't add bulk to the grip. But will help your hand to lock in.Ed

You made the right choice, IMHO.  Dave does some very nice checkering and not only does it look great, but it feels good too!  Money well spent.  It really makes a great grip even better.

It will be money well spent.

Well, I sure do like the checkered grip on mine.

I wouldn't have one without it , it just screams YEAH you're going to hammer this shot!

Yes it is worth the money.  I like it on mine.

The checkered grip is good to look at and really bonds your hand to his bows. I wish all bows had it. The ridges are sharp and you'll feel them at first but they'll smooth out quickly so don't let that bother you.

I would not order one without it...

My Tip doesn't have it and I'm pondering sending it in to get it done.

Steve - Is that a special checkering job or standard?

TJ,

That is standard checkering, but I added the carving so my Tip would be special...
