Josh,

I was going to say that.  Out of all the animals I've hunted, if I could pick only one to go after for the rest of my days it would be the Sitka Blacktail and this is why:

even the airport is paradise!

Greg Dearth

Kodiak Brown Bear , Dall Sheep or Mt. Goat, since I'm dreaming why not put them all on my bucket list.

Right now one Mature Bull Wapiti please. New Mexico here I come....

If I had the time and resources ($$$) I would go after the Cape Buffalo. In a heartbeat.

But, here in the states I'd go after pigs over anything else. I went after hogs once and it was the most fun trip I've done.

Gun

It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Herdbull

Sheep. I can't sleep.... I dream about sheep. Ha!
I would like to go for Dahl someday.

To keep things realistic for me, I'd have to say kudu and gemsbok. But I think "Black Death" would be a real kick in the pants.

Not sure if this is what your asking but I dream of the same Dall ram repeatedly every year before I go alpine. He is a 12 year old with massive bases and one side broomed off to about 3/4 curl, the other looks like half of a 40 inch ram! In the dream I come around a big boulder with just enough of a path around it I can get by without falling. As I round the corner he's standing there with no where to go but strait up. As he goes for it I put a shaft through his hart at about 10 yards! I'll find him someday!

If someone where to hand me a butt load of cash and say "hunt anywhere for anything" my first choice would not be Moose! I think cape buff would be way up there!
Just this Alaskan's opinion

adkmountainken

moose or caribou however i feel like i'm living the dream hunting these big Adirondack whitetails!!! would loce to chase elk through the Rockies as well.
I go by many names but Daddy is my favorite!

My dream animal would be Caribou.

My dream hunt would be Caribou with Fred Bear and my Dad. Both are gone now, but would have been a real hoot listening to those 2.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

May Thors Hammer ring in your favor!

Froggy

In the states.... a Whitetail with bases as big as your wrist w/ double drops pushing 300 on the scales. Across the water, a Cape Buff or Sable.

Sheep.  Moose is a close second and would be a little more in my price range.  But since we're dreaming it would be any kind of sheep.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.
