Man, I need to get on here more! I'm a late arrival on this thread. I was at the rabbit hunt and you can bet your beans I'll be at the squirrrel hunt! This time, I'm bringing my seven year old that won the youth long bow at the GORH! I think you'll see him shooting this bow in the Dayton Daily news on Sunday Aug 30! He's hooked!
BTW Had a great time at the GORH! Most fun I've ever had with a bow! Put me down for two 2XL's and a youth 6-8 if possible! Thanks, Heath

Heading to Zanesville after the holiday to visit family. Plan on running down to the campsite and scout the area a bit. Looks like I will be laid off for a while so the Ohio Squirrel and Deer hunts are a go for me. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I went squirell hunting this weekend and lost over a hundred dollars in arrows and points. Mainly because one got stuck and tried to shoot it down and then another got stuck and tried to shoot it down and so on. But here is my advice for wood shooters. Get a bunch of seconds shafts use old feather trimmings in 5/8n incraments to make up a flu flu style arrow and use the cheap steel blunts everyone sells and find someone who shoots .38 cal bullets and grab there shells and pound them on the blunts. they hit hard and are hard to loose and if you do your not out a $2-$4 small game head on a squirell. Oh and VERY VERY BRIGHT fletching.when your only dumping $3.50 an arrow instead of $6-$15 it makes you feel a little better when it gets hung up in a tree and you have to walk away.

Where is the fun then? I'm gonna try and make extra fluflu's so some people can launch some cheap arra's in the trees with me.
