Great pics, by the way. Thanks.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

May Thors Hammer ring in your favor!

Thats all part of the fun - waiting. I have been doing it every year now for past 6yrs. It's so much fun I drove back down for a second hunt with Curtis this year. No short drive either it's 32hrs one way! I love huntin hawgs.

Here's a great story on my website that Stony wrote up a few years ago. It was one of the most special hunts I'd ever been on. Someone, something, somehow, placed us all on that bridge transcending time together. It was here that we found ourselves in the moonlight as a silent hush fell over us and the only trickle of movement to be found was the cool night air as it blew across the goosebumps on the back of our necks.   Stony\\'s story

That one gave me goose bumps, Curtis.

Hunt it, thanks for posting the pictures. 32hrs drive one way! I thought it was bad for us - 28 hrs one way. I've made the trip several times. I've hunted ranches in the Laredo, and Benavides area.

Keep em sharp!

I talked to Curtis and he has received my deposit. I'm going to shoot my 55lb at 28" A&H ACS. I haven't decided on arrows yet, but I'll probably shoot Grizzlystik Alaskans with Magnus Stinger 125 gr broadheads for a total arrow weight of 630 grains.

Thanks for the pics. hunt it. I'll be showing those to My son and son-in-law to fire them up a little. They're both really excited about this trip. Me too!!! Come on Jan.

Great story! I often  think about stuff like that while afield with the bow. Has another hunter walked this same path a 1000-10,000 years ago? I also wonder some times what the animal I will take next is doing at this very moment. Eventually our paths will cross and my arrow will find it's mark.....or not.
