Wow! I figured the Woodsman would rule this catagory. The Simmons is getting some face time!

As much as I love the Snuffers, I'd have to pick the Woodsman if I had to pick just one. Good for little pigs, big pigs, whitetails, elk, moose, and up to the biggest of animals in USA.

I've been using Ace heads since 2004, so that would be my choice.

Having just received some Abowyer Brown Bear 175gr heads I don't have much experience with them in a hunting situation....BUT I love what I see in these. Great dimensions and built like a rock!

Hard to beat a Magnus II.
I'm trying the Grizzly this weekend, now that I can get them sharp enough.

Zwickey Eskimo's... ONLY !!

Fly perfect and quiet, easy to get crazy sharp and most importantly they "work" everytime.

Magnus Stingers , tough broadhead that files true , has never failed me  , and a life time warrenty . I really cant ask for more than that  .

Although I've taken 95% of all my animals with Zwickey Delta 4 blades....I'd choose the Wensel Woodsman.

Why?...I've killed bunnys to bison with them....they leave a better trail than a 2 blade...penetrate as well as most 2 blades, touch up fast and easy in the field...and are the best 'all around head' IMO for any game in N. America.

Dave2old, it's a Trad site, it had to be bows or Bheads!!   :campfire:

By my count there have been 21 different broadheads mentioned, some of the same brand but different styles. So far Simmons and WW's are tied with the most at 4 each. Zwickey Eskimo next with 3. Zwickey brand with 5 and Magnus brand with 4. I love this. Now do one on carbon arrows.

SNUFFERS baby!!!!! I guess you could say the WW as well cause as far as I'm concerned they are just a replica of the Snuffer. Maybe I'm wrong.

Well I've tried most of whats been posted here. They all work. But got the hankering to try something different so I just ordered some of them Abowyer heads. We'll see.   ;)    :campfire:

Magnus Stingers for me.

Made well, lifetime warranty, better blood trail over two blades, small bleeders improve penetration over larger ones and all blades are sharpened on rear sides. Both blades are removable for sharpening.

SNUFFERS!!!!!   are really easy to sharpen and fly as a field point, the blood trail is amazing as in hunting sometimes we don't make the perfect shoot.

but nothing beats a well placed arrow

I gotta stay with my Magnus stingers they have treated me well for the last 2 years. Easy to sharpen, tough, and lifetime warranty if you can tear one up. Have used them on deer, hogs, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, rattlesnakes, and anything else that comes by me with no problems at all.
