fidodog (or anybody else), where did you find the vitals print out? I have been looking for one and could not find any.

Thank
Ask me about CTO.

fido dog

Aww hell Chester. I don't remember. It took me about an hour to find one. I think my search ended up like "archery vitals target" or something. Mine is actually a pixelated enlargement of PART of the whole target.

My very first shot of the day, no warm ups. 17 yards, sitting on the bucket, at a pic of a squirrel, shooting my Schafer 62" 63# @ 28" with one of my footed cedar shafts.

As you can see this squirrel lived to fight another day.

After I posted the pics, I went back out and totally wore that squirrel out. That was alot of fun and great practice. Now I'll print out some more pictures of small critters, rabbits, prarie dogs, and the like. I work the swing shift today so I can play for a while.  :goldtooth:

I'm gonna go ahead and post mine early too.  My setup is:

Samick Red Stag, 45lbs @28"
Gold Tip Trad 3555, full length w/150 grain tips and 5" shield cut feathers

17 yards, sitting in my LSU lawn chair, dead deer.  I may have to start bringing my chair to the 3D shoots if I'm gonna get results like this!

kodiakkid

Super nice shot. Dead deer for sure.
Always strive to do the right thing. Don't beat yourself down when you mess up. Ask for forgivness and keep on keeping on.

UnderControl16

Hahaha, this is such a cool thread i sure can't promise any really good shots but i am so taking part in this. I'll give some of the "trials" a few tries tomorrow at the range and see what happens.

I thought I could shoot with them on, but not when I got back to anchor.  The wire got in the way of my sight picture. It was ridiculously humid out today, by the time I was done shooting you would have thought I just ran a few miles.

PAPA BEAR

That's exactly what my wife said!

I've been around, just not posting anything, because I don't really have anything to post.
Ask me about CTO.

Friends call me Pac

First shot of the day.  17 Yards and sitting.  This was the very first time I have ever shot from a sitting position.  Guess my military training of "center mass" took over  :)

Now I know why I stand before taking a shot but do see how practicing this shot would help.  Wouldn't you know it, my next shot was in the kill zone.
