Just got this Taipan from JD Berry.  Yew core and Brazilian Cherry with Bacote diamonds in the limbs.  The riser is wenge with elk lines and yew arcs capped with canarywood, zebrawood, and bison horn. James faded wenge wedges between the lams in the riser to make it all pop out.  The tips are wenge capped with canarywood and bison horn.  The Brazilian Cherry is fantastic.  Lots of lights and darks with salt and pepper flecks through it. Got this one 53@28 and it shoots great. Feels like I've been shooting it for years.  Great bow.  Enjoy!

Really a sharpe looking bow Tim.

Hey Dan, James said you were liking that bow. I think he was afraid you'd kick his butt on the range with it!

Doug I took those pics right where we saw our "turkey"!  Good thing Karen's eyes were better than ours or all three of us might have been tempted to put a mean stalk on that bucket!!!!    :bigsmyl:

Thanks for the compliments guys.  Should be just right for knocking down some pigs.

Hey Molson. That's the second nicest looking Taipan I've ever seen  :bigsmyl:  ! Congrats. If it shoots as good as mine, you're golden!

Molson, I just got a call from James on Thursday telling me to keep an eye out for my new Viper this Tuesday or Wednesday. He told me to look for your pics on the web because my bow is the "sister" to your bow. They are made with almost the same woods. Love that Brazillian Cherry. I'll post pics of mine when it comes in this week.

Did ya name it yet? When I ordered mine I was surprised when James told me I could "name" my bow...lol I named mine "The Buck Swatter"...lol

Beautiful bow, can't wait for mine!

I just orderd an Argos last night.  Brown glass back, white glass belly.  I went for the simpler ( I.e. cheaper) version of the viper.  I'm stoked
