Hunting in Australia this weekend
« on: March 08, 2009, 12:18:00 AM »
I had to go to Australia on a spur of the moment. No planning just pack a bag and jump on a plane. I posted on a Aussie bow hunting site and asked about the fishing as I will have the weekend off. I had a fellow call me and invite me to hunt Axis with him this weekend. The INTERNET is such a wonderful tool

What part of Auss are you going (sounds like maybe in Queensland somewhere - Axis???)??  Was it Al or Ben??  Both top blokes if that is the case!

Welcome to Australia and all the best with the hunting - Sutto

you think whitetail are pretty. wait till you lay eyes on a chital. the most beautiful of all deer.

i tell you what more of you on here should be trading hunts with aussies. it'll be one cheap hunt. especially for you americans. good exchange rate!! most of us would gladly take you out. no licences, tags or anything like that. except in certain states for certain species. for the cost of getting here you could came face to face with plenty of animals. it'll be a much more authentic experience, having meet and hunted with locals.
