what size alum. shafts do you use for footing carbons? Also how do you chanfer the alum. to keep it from hanging up in the target?

La. bowhunter

I use a 2212 to foot CX heritage 350's. Yes I take a file and chamfer the ends to help it slide in and out easier without tearing up the target too badly.

If you have something to "mic." the carbon shaft  the aluminums like 2117 = 21/64 diameter and 17 thousands thickness. You can figure the needed size. Altho if the sizes given above hit yours it's easier to ask.
