Time is getting very short to get those applications in.

pronghorn23

Just curious...how many are in so far?
If I remember right the last youth hunt I thought there were very few. Hopefully there's more this time.

Kevin Bahr

Todd, you're correct...last time we had zero interested applicants, this time we have EIGHT so far.

pronghorn23

Eight is low but way better than zero I guess....Wow zero.

Arwin

I want to add my daughter for this. I have to wait til tomorrow to get all her info.
While watching Primal Dreams, she fell in love with elk and their bugles. This would be a great opportunity for any kid.
Just one more step please!

Kevin Bahr

Arwin, did you get the email I sent via Tradgang?

Arwin

I checked but didn't see anything come through yet.

Congrats to the 10 kids who will be in Utah in August.
Being first, making a mark and being part of
something great!

May you keep the wind to your nose, have the patience of Job, and have your Firstarrow fly true.

Fantastic news! The 10 kids will have an amazing trip. My son Jeff learned volumes and just spending a week with the heros of our sport is awesome!

Hattrick

I hope you guys do this again next year!!! This a outstanding opportunity for these kids.. My daughter will be old enough next year.. Thumbs up to all thats involved in putting this together

Regulars and YPBS are the only ones that can apply?

Greg in Delton MI

No, any PBS member Associates included can have their children or grand children can apply. New members can apply as well.
Greg

Long as I can pull this bow
Long as I can hike the hills and walk among the trees
I keep on trying
My goals are high but I don't care
The fun is in the getting there, it justifies the end
So try, try again

Thats great. But its probably time I complete my app for regular anyway. I have been putting it off for sometime now. I just feel like a regular membership is something you earn. Not just by your personal position on ethics, hunting issues, equipment, people you associate with, how you conduct yourself etc. I geuss I feel its like an Eagle Scout for bowhunting, earned not given. I better get an app and go forward.

Hattrick

Me an my daughter are both associate members, but shes only 14..needs to be 15 i believe.. Good luck with this!!!!

Hey Dave!  Yes, it is about time we saw your Regular/Qualified application.  I know I speak for Council when I say we would be very happy to review your app.  Give Brenda a call on Tuesday (she's off this monday) and get the process rolling, man!

Barry, if your daughter is 14, she was qualified to apply for this year's Youth Leadership Hunt.  Not to worry though, she will still be eligible in two years for the next one, wherever that may be.  Hope to see you both in Nashville for the banquet next March!

Shad

Such a great thing for our youth. I'm very proud of all those who make this happen. One of the many reasons why I am proud to be part of the PBS.

Vince,
Congratulations...no doubt you two will have a blast and learn alot.

I'd have a hard time concentrating the rest of the school year if I was in your shoes. Sure gives you something to look forward to this summer.

Firstarrow

Not to give anything away but......

Vince,
Watch the mail for the next week or so...   :goldtooth:
