I'm looking for a couple dozen matched weight and spine cedar arrows, who are some of the best arrow makers out there?

Chris Surtees

Ted Fry (Raptor Archery), and Bob Burton (Whispering Wind Arrows)

Jesse Minish

Elite Arrows. Great arrows at a great price.

Steve P

I don't think Bob does cedar, but he makes a very fine arrow. I've used cedar from Paul at Elite and his arrows are top notch, for sure.

WHISPERING WIND ARROWS by Bob Burton

swampbuck

Looks like he's getting ready for something but I don't think it's rabbits LOL

I'm also interested in a set or 2 of nice nice matched woodies possibly to shoot the indoor league this yr with.I shoot targets for score in the off season 10 weeks starts in Jan

Then there's also some other things coming close that wood arrows may be required isn't that right Larry  :D

I just recieved 4doz ash shafts for myself from Bager arrow those are for bunnies   :bigsmyl:
Shoot straight and have FUN!!

ok fella's, don't ever try to put anything past swampbuck, lol. yep Tom, just picked up a new to me, lightweight d/c centaur. I'm thinking it will make a perfect 3-d bow, and the worlds are still in new york this year...and the longbow division requires wood arrows. right now it's shooting some epic 600's real well, I know they are a .600 deflection at 28", but I'm thinking wood is measured at 26"? is that right?

thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll check them all out.

aromakr

Larry:

You are correct carbons are measured at 28" with a 1.94# weight and woods 26" with a 2# weight. But who ever makes your arrows talk with him he will be able to guide you in spine selection.

Bob
Man must "believe" in something!  I "believe" I will go hunting-----

swampbuck

Before ya go and get arrows set up for the bow as is you may need to check the ruleing on center shot and the LB div. yes wood arrows but for some reason I don't think the bow can be cut to or past center.

I,m not sure if I'm gonna try to shoot that or not but I did see it's at holiday valley again this yr
Shoot straight and have FUN!!

larry

yep Tom, longbow division needs to be 1/8" outside of center. the centaurs are cut to center and this one has a piece of heavy duty velcro for a side plate, just over 1/8" thick by my tired old eyes lol

Bob, pm on the way

John Nail

+1 for Elite. Go to Paul's website, and look at the championships won with his Arrows. I make my own, but after 40 years of it, I still can't beat Paul's
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

Jwilliam

Paul Jalon when I order finished arrows.  www.elitearrows.com   Jim Curlee for shafts.
