I want to chime in here, I love fletching tape and use it exclusivly. BUT if you leave a quiver of arrows in your truck during a summer afternoon here in Laredo, you are going to come out and find the temperature inside your truck around 130 degrees and no feathers on your arrows. After learning that lesson I still love fletching with tape.

Not much of a fan of it. I found my feathers  shifted on the arrows. But it was hot and humid.

Been using fletch tape for a few yrs now and never had a feather come off even after the arrow passed thru deer. I think you got a hold of maybe some old tape.

Keep your feathers dry and your nose in the wind and become the predator that we really are.
