Wyoming is loaded with antelope and public land. Look for areas west of Casper for lots of quantity and quality goats on public land. Check the Game and Fish website for application details.

Montana and Wyoming would be your best bets. Hunting antelope with a bow is a blast. If you are planning on spot and stalking invest in a good set of knee pads you will need them. I have went to MT hunting them the last 2 years but have not shot one yet. But I probably averaged 4 stalks per day. centaur listed the WY FWP and here is Montana's FWP site

Check out NM Dept of Game & Fish website for info on obtaining a non-resident Antelope tag.

There is an ample amount of antelope here in NM.

I'm in S. Wyo and we are loaded w/ goats here, I usually see 100 or more on the way to work every day.  Albany County is mostly private but Carbon Co has lots of public land. In Wyo, you can usually get additional doe tags as well.

What myshootin said; check out areas 62 and 63. Great country and lots of goats. Area 47 is a good choice, as well. BLM land, so access and camping is easy.

Mike Eastman of Eastmans' Hunting Journal has a new book on antelope hunting coming out in January. It's my understanding that it is primarily focused on do-it-yourself hunting and includes material on bowhunting as well as spot-and-stalk and hunting from blinds. This might be a book to check out while planning your hunt. In the past I have found Eastman's mule deer and elk books to be useful. I believe the Eastmans' Hunting Journal or Eastmans' Bowhunting Journal websites will have more imformation.

Dave,
If you are interested in antelope, go to the BLM website  www.blm.gov  . You can get maps of their areas of responsibility. The forest service has maps of each forest as well. Also, the Game and Fish has maps online of public access areas (private ground that owners give access to hunting). Approximately 54% of Wyoming is public ground. Hope this helps.
