Yep.  Mighty fine bows.  I've had a lot of Critter Gitters and Ghosts over the years.  Still have one of each.  Traded or sold to drop down in weight.  At least one more CG and perhaps a Bush bow is on my list.  I commend GN for exclusively using domestic woods, including dymondwood, in its bows.  (Bamboo isn't a wood and it isn't in short supply.)   :readit:

Some questions...
These are fiberglass backed aren't they? For that matter, if any bow isn't backed then it's a selfbow isn't it?
Do they have much hand shock, if any?

That sure is a beautiful bow! Like Ghost Dog said, there is something about a simple, straight limbed (maybe a little r/d, as long as it's a pretty good D shape when strung) longbow that makes my heart jump  :D

Always had my eyes on the bushbow - gotta like a simple longbow period.

Nice bow!

Jerry's craftsmanship cannot be beat.  Excellent bows. I love his osage and shedua combos.

The Critter Gitter goes well with Cocobolo, Osage, and a Jack Knife folding hinge:)

That is a nice looking bow.  I've been looking at ordering a GN for a while now.  Haven't done it yet.  Maybe sooner than later.  All I've heard about them has been good.

Yeah, I confess that it's starting to get to me. Someone posted a "new longbow" post where I truly had to strain my eyes to tell the string "wasn't touchin'". I mean the limb was CLEARLY reflex in a big way. LONG recurve riser to boot. Can't we call them hybrids? I mean, why pretend? Flame on!    :biglaugh:

That is a great looking bow. I have a fireball in the same woods - only after 6 years my osage has darkened up.  I would like to get a bushbow someday too. It looks like they are doing the shelf a little different.  Mine is more flat. - Chad
