I just moved here to Joseph Oregon not too long ago and have seen plenty of elk, with some big bulls killed.  I haven't hunted here because I have no clue where to go but I have seen animals anyway.  I hope to find a decent spot in the next year or so.

The region is on the Eastern part of the state and the elk are Rocky Mtn. variety.

This is a great offer and would put my own name in, but wouldn't want it to be seen as a conflict of interest.  The generosity here is simply amazing.

Let me know when ya'al get here and we can go to breakfast or something.

I have never been on an elk hunt and think this would be as good a time as any. As far as being in the best shape of my life, NO, that'll never again happen.
I'll be sretching the 60 mark when this hunt goes down.

I was given a similar opportunity this season. I have a friend who sort of showed me the ropes about elk hunting. What an experience! Never had a shot but it was awesome. Didn't realize I had elk in my back yard practically. DO NOT put my name in for this. Just wanted to say how much I appreciate the members of this community for doing things like this and hope the winner has as good of an experience as I had!
