Let me tell you how bad the chiggers are in Georgia. It's 2:40am and instead of sleeping, I'm awake putting alcohol on the 100 or so chigger bites I have that are itching me to death!

I spent a lot of "quality time" with chiggers in the swamps on Ft. Stewart when I was in the Army.  I can sympathise.

Hey Biggie, have you ever heard of collodal(sp) silver, you can pick it up at a health food store put some in a small spray bottle, 1 spray of this stuff and let it dry and the itch will go away in a day or 2. I live in NE Oklahoma and believe me I know what your going thru.  Good Luck

My good friend suggested the follofing treatment to me. I just haven't drawn up the courage to do it yet. Drink a shot of vinegar every night before you go to bed. In a matter of a week or two, they'll leave you alone. But to keep the effect you have to keep drinking the vinegar.

I get them all the time but this time I must have sat down in a nest. Most miserable night I've ever spent besides the  2 days I spent in Iowa, snowed in, in a motel room with the Wensels .........between the snoring and the methane, I nearly didn't make it

Now you know why I don't go into the woods until after a couple of good frosts, or preferably a good freeze!  Chiggers eat me up when no one else gets even one bite!    :mad:    :(
