Do any of you use a portable bathroom and/or RV air conditioner/heater while hunting, fishing, at shoots, etc...

If so which brand and model? Do they fit your needs and how easy are they to use?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
CS

Never had much luck with a pop up camper. If your buying new, the price is about the same and a hard side camper is much! much! more comfortable. If weight is an issue they make plenty of light weight hardside campers. Trust me, you'll wished you'd bought a hard side after a few trips.Just my thought, coming from experince. Good luck

Chris, I have a Starcraft pop-up and love it. Queen size bed one side and full size on other. sink, stove, (stove can be hung ouside so do not heat up camper.) Table with bench on both sides and it makes into a bed also, roof top AC that works great. I have one of them portable toilets from a camping store that works in a pinch. I like mine cause it is light and easy to set up by myself. I have used it hunting in winter and fishing and camping in summer and love it.

My brother has one and we used it last year, pop up that is. Very comfortable and had AC/Heat. Also had a porolet in it but we did not use it as we were at a campground with showers and bathrooms. Do not remember the brand but he got it used.

Thanks everyone...the reason I am asking these questions is I am picking up a Conqueror Camper Base Camp when I am home on leave.

Have been looking to portable AC/Heat Units and bathrooms but not sure how they will work out.

I am used to being without these but think it would make a primitive camp much nicer.

Thanks for the help J, Donald, and Danny. Wish it had a roof top AC but this just has a tent on top. Good thing is other than the AC unit and bathroom it is completely setup.

I use the Portable Toilet from Phillips Environmental Products (www.thepett.com)  It works great especially when you are at shoots like Cloverdale where the portalets aren't so nice for my little girls to use.
Take a kid hunting!
