new footed arrows

Here are some footed arrows that I made last wednesday evening during a workshop that I gave about arrow building at our archery club.
The arrows have 5" shield camo tre red and camo tre grey feathers with a 125 gr tophat field point.

Beautiful arrows. What wood did you use for the footings?

Here are some details of the footing and fletching.
I believe that the guy, where I ordered these footed shafts, mentioned that he uses premium mahogany as footing. The footing might not come out real clear as I stained the shafts first with dark oak color.

Is that a red marble in your crest Arnold? The arrows look great as usual. Where do you get those feathers?
