I shoot a sweet pulling 56" Chek-mate right now, but I might try a Cascade in 52" later when I get my form back after going to compounds in 73.It all depends on your draw length and if the bow stacks befor you reach your anchor (feels like you hit a wall as you are drawing) but I like the shortest bow that is smooth to my little 28" draw length. I guess it's all what a guy likes. Ain't archery fun?

I like a 60" bow. I tend to get good performance and a comphy draw out to 28.5-29". I have a Blacktail Snakebit that is 64" and is as smooth as butter...

My 58" Widow PTFX.  A 56" Morrison will also see some woods time.  Got a Shrew, 58" that will also get out some.  But I always end up shooting my Widow most - I love that bow.

62" r/d longbows or 62-64" recurves (old Bears).  With my 30" draw I'm not comfortable shooting bows under 62" for any length of time... can't stand the finger pinch.

This year's hunting bow is a 62" 1959 Bear Grizzly  :)
