It can be either longbow, hybrid or recurve. Glass or wood or carbon. It matters not. Thanks Flint  :)

I have some old Bear recurves that I hunt with, but my #1 hunting bow is a 62" Mikuta longbow.
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

I have 4 old bear recurve bows. The two I use most are an A mag handle with #2 limbs at 50# that is 58" -- and a B wood handle with #1 limbs at 48# that is 60". They both shoot the same arrows (50-55 POC) well and that is why I shoot these two more than my other bows.

Two recurves 58" and 62"
Longbow 64"
The 58" recurve seems to see most of the action...although I enjoy using all of them...

Up to now a 60" recurve. This year I plan to go with my 64" longbow. Classic "D" shape-I love it! :)

Last couple years I used a 58" Red Wing Hunter recurve. This year will be a 64" Mahantango long bow. Hope to have my 70" Mahantango by Winter bow season.
I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

58" AIM T/D Hunter recurve.  I'd like four more inches, though.

This year, my main bow is a 56" Whisperstik Mojo recurve. Other bows on the rack include a 66" Appalachian longbow, 64" Appalachian flatbow, 64" Mississippi Lakes longbow, 62" Hill longbow and a 58" Appalachian recurve. So I have some alternatives, but that Whisperstik is an amazing bow. Quiet, fast, and accurate.

Mostly a 68" longbow, but will possibly do a little hunting with 62" later in the season.
