I lost my Schafer Silvertip some where along Highway 200 in North Dakota. Any of you guys from ND hear anything, please get a hold of me. Thank, Joel Nelson

Too much gear in the back of a pickup, bow got loose   apparently and blew out. Don't know where, other than on the road that we traveled. Bummer!!!

Having run over my bow I can really feel your pain my friend! That particularly acute pain that goes with "I shoulda, coulda, woulda!" It takes a bit but you'll shake it off. It's all temporal man, everything we have we lose, including our lives. I do feel bad for you though.   :(

I know exactly how you feel.  The back window of my hunting buddy's truck rattled open and I lost a case with a longbow and recurve on the trail into elk camp in Idaho... was fortunate to find the case with bows intact.  Hope you are equally lucky.  In the meantime, I'll keep my ears open.

hope you find your bow joel. was it one of your originals?

Danny Rowan

Do not see how it could have blown out. Did ya stop for gas or to eat? Might have been stolen. Would have taken a hurricane force wind I would think to blow it out of your truck.  Hope ya find it.

Joel,

I am heading out there today and will drive HWY 200 from Washburn to HWY 85.  I will keep a look out.  Did it blow out on the way out or back?

Joel...I left my Sweptwing Recurve on the top of my truck last year and drove off after an evening hunt. Four days later I got a phone number to call of a WMA biologist that works in that area. He had found my bow and had it in his truck. To top it off, he was going to be a mile from my house that evening for an event for his kids. Saved me a bow and a 2 hour drive to pick it up. There is hope..Good luck...Mark

I came up Hwy 85 from Spearfish to just north of Buffalo, SD two weeks ago. Granted I stopped about 11 miles from ND. That is BIG country to try and find a bow that blew out "somewhere"...  I hope you find it.

Man, THAT SUCKS!!! I'd be freakin' out! I did something similar to a high dollar ultralight fishing rod once, I went back and it was gone. Good luck maybe Greg can find it for you! Sorry.
