When I got home from the gym just after lunch today my wife, Laura, said she had some pics she had to show me. They were  taken from our front porch.

She has about a dozen others that are similar and a video clip. I have never uploaded a video clip so I will try that later.

The most frightening thing you are likely to encounter in nature is yourself.

Jim: Although Laura is a good hunter I have agreed that bald headed deer are off limits on our 5 acre homestead. However, on our 23 acre river bottom anything is fair game....even for her.

Dave: I should be home after 2 PM.

Beautiful shots Laura !!
You shoot as well with a camera, as you do with a bow.
Thanks for sharing Bill.

Hey Chris: Haven't heard from you in a while. What is this "St. Albens, VT" thing. Are you moving.? New job? By the way, we are down to two chickens (no more eggs). Foxes and racoons have about wiped them out.

Great pics!  We have the same thing going on in our front yard at the raspberries, except they come only after dark.  (Three dogs in the house, another dog next door . . . )

Hey Bill,

As with most folks, between work and kids....free time is pretty rare.  I need to stop by and say 'Hi' sometime.

St. Albans VT..........I was born up that way and have a ton of family there.  So I tend to spend a lot of time up there visiting and hunting.  Would love to move up that way but I am not sure my wife would appreciate a farming lifestyle (my uncle is a dairy farmer).

Bummer about the chickens.  My girls still talk about going to your house and getting eggs.  For a long time they were trying to convince my wife to let them get chickens.  They did not have much luck.    :D

I'll give you a shout.

Hope all is well.

Chris: All is well. I'll be at the Muzzy this weekend. Will be back Tues. AM. Say "Hi" to the girls.
