For some time, I've been collecting club patches, with the intent of making a display quilt of them to take to shoots and let everyone see what other clubs/groups are doing. Well, there are few great ideas that haven't been thought of before :^)

This is a pic from the latest Muzzle Blasts magazine of just such a quilt, made from muzzle loading shoot patches...

I'm a little over one fourth of the way to having the 84 patches I want for the quilt I have planned. You can see my patches at:

If anyone wants to add one of their club patches to the collection, it would be more than welcome.

Incidentally, I quilt on a trad machine... an 1889 Singer...

Make sure you post pics when its done. My wife is very interested in this. I got her shooting a Toelke Whip and even out hunting with it. She is a big quilter and am hoping she makes me a trad themed quilt one day.

That is a great idea. My grandmother made me a similar quilt out of Boy Scout neckerchiefs many years ago. It still gets lots of attention to this day, and is very special to me.
