I've owned a PSA and PGA. I truly love a one piece recurve. My PGA may be the best shooting recurve bow I've ever owned.

PTF for me. Why? It's the only one I own or shoot.
I like the light weight one piece no bushings simple bow.

I like the SA's and the MA's and also the TF.

I have two a PMA11 and a PLGA.
While they are both excellent bows I have recurves that I shoot better than the PMA11.
But the PLGA is my go to bow. Shoot it better than any other bow I have tried.

Two years ago I ordered a PSAV,62",and 53 lbs at 28".  Not one to wait patiently I bought an SAV 58" and 49 lbs. at 28 in. and had it refinished by BW. Great shooters both, but then at Compton's that same year I won a PLIII, 66" and 54 lbs @28 in. I must say that longbow is my favorite, so much so that I have another on order right now in a T/D model.

PMA II,  62",  54#@30"   Smooth, baby!
The toughest thing I've found about deer hunting is getting them to hold still long enough for me to stick an orange spot on them and then step off the yardage...

I like the PSA but then again thats all I own.
Sights, SIGHTS, we don't need no stinkin sights!!!!!

If Geronimo shot a Black Widow, you would be speaking Apache.

I had a sa that shot well, but always shot a friend of mine Ma better.  Have a Pmax on order, sitting on week 5.  Steve I already told you that the bow you shoot the best is any you bow you pick up.  By the way he has not only shot them all but owned them all!  See you pal.

I really like the SA's the best and 56-58"s works best for me. one thing for sure...you can't go wrong with any Black Widow bow.

I'm really partial to my PGA, or is it my TF... somedays it's my PMAX and then other days I'm partial to my MAV...

So many bows, so little time to hunt with them.

(I believe a cocobolo/osage PSAX is in my future, but I'd really like a tulipwood PA...)

If any of you proud and happy PSR owners could send me a photo or two of your PSR, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I have a couple of favorite bows, but my favorite "Widow" is a 60" SAII Graybark TD. It draws smooth, shoots soft, and hits HARD...and right where it's pointed!
