ok last year i used a magnus 2 blade with great results pass throughs everytime and dead deer everytime but none of those deer left alot of blood (all shots were double lungs). Granted they all died within 50 yards of the shot so it wasnt that big of a deal, but im worried if i make a less than perfect shot that they wont leave a significant bllod trail thus making it harder to track.

Im thinking about trying out some snuffers with hopes of more blood but im only shooting 53lbs. So my question is should i still expect to get a pass through with the 3 blade out of only 53lbs? or am i just overthinking this? What are your guys experinces with snuffers?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Curtis I am shooting a 49# BW PSR. been using magnus stinger 150 grain 4 blade. the beeders are small but I do feel they help with the blood trail. JMO

Same here, Stinger two blade with bleeders.  Can't go wrong with them.  I switched to them because a lot of guys were using them, and getting good results

I shoot 58 pounds and use the 150gr. Snuffers.  I shot my first deer with them this year and it was just nasty the amount of blood that the deer left behind.  Complete pass thru.  I think if you are tuned correctly you should be able to use whatever you want for a broadhead.

I use the stingers 4 blade 150 as well. I will be using the magnus 1 1 1/2 wide 160 gr 2 blade with my woodies..

Curtis,

As long as your bow is dialed in you should be able to pretty much use whatever head you want.

If you want to try a snuffer go ahead. As long as you have confidence in your equipment use what you feel is best.

Nothing says you have to totally switch. Carry some snuffers and the 2 blades.

Thanks for the responses guys
