This is our fifth year in a row attending Compton.  Although gas prices our high and alot of flooding in our area, there is no way we could miss this year.  Thanks to all the staff, vendors, and friends that make Compton Rendevous what it is every year.  My daughter Brier looks forward to this every year, almost as much as I do.  Here are a few pictures of us having fun!

Good to see you there Chris. Many happy returns to one of the best all around family shoot I know of. Great weekend in the woods.

It was a blast indeed!

Both of my kids and my wife enjoyed every minute of it. Except when I told my son we had to leave. He's 7 and more addicted than I am!

Chris,
It was great seeing you and the family at Compton.  Chatting with your adorable daughter Brier was a real treat.  She's a cutie pie!

Hey Lefty, nice pics.  Brier has grown a lot since last year.  Looks like you all had fun.  Missed you at the ITBS Ames shoot.  We'll have to figure out how to get together sometime in the near future!

Shaun, it was good to see you also.  Hope we can get together this next winter and chase some bunnies.  I was just talking to Court about that at the Ikes shoot.

John, thanks for the kind words.  It is always a highlight of our trip to spend time talking with you and Larry.  Thanks for always making us feel so welcome and Brier feel so special.  She truely is.

Tim, we missed you and your family at Ames.  Brier's birthday was on Saturday the 24th, so she had a party with her girl friends and we didn't make it up to the shoot till Sunday.  Brier and I shot the Ikes shoot at Court's club and spent some time with him.  We were both wishing you well and comparing notes on when we had last talked to you.  Hope we can get together and shoot soon.  Are you going to the Wapello Chief's shoot July 5th?

Bernie, great pictures yourself!

Thanks everyone else for the kind words.
